The sale of Novo Building Products [www.novobp.com], Zeeland, Michigan, from Blue Wolf Capital Partners to Hardwoods Distribution Inc. (“HDI”) was completed on July 31, 2021. Based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, HDI is one of North America’s largest wholesale distributors of architectural building products to the residential and commercial construction sectors. HDI operates a network of 70 distribution facilities.
Novo Building Products is a manufacturer and distributor of stair parts, mouldings, doors and specialty millwork. The company also produces a variety of board products. The firm also operates Ornamental Decorative Millwork, L.J. Smith Stair Systems, Empire Moulding & Millwork, Southwest Moulding and Millwork and Novo Direct.

The intent for acquisition was originally announced with Blue Wolf on June 23.
