This building is an impressive man cave across the street from the primary residence. It serves as a guest house, office space, social area, and storage for sporting equipment. It was designed to meet the owners’ wants and needs while staying within the value post-frame offers.
It’s constructed on a foundation using Sturdi-Wall Plus brackets to ensure it will serve the family for generations. Other notable design features include vinyl shakes and frieze board to match the primary residence, a second-story bump-out porch that’s half enclosed and half open, in-floor heat, and vaulted ceilings to give the building a greater open feel.
The building is split lengthwise vs. side- to-side, with the living space completed using traditional residential materials and finishes, while the shop side uses both traditional post-frame finishes and aged barn wood.
