Atlas Roofing Corporation’s (www.atlasroofing.com) production of a new state-of-the-art shingle laminating line is on track for completion in the fourth quarter of 2021. The new line at the
company’s Ardmore, Oklahoma facility, will allow for a significant increase in
Atlas’ production of laminate shingles and
create efficiencies to increase throughput.

“We are in the first phase of construction on the project. We are constructing the laminator for our HP42™ shingles and working on the electrical components for it,” explains Rick Stevenson, manager of the Ardmore plant. “The second phase will be completing the test runs, which we are on schedule to begin in late October.”

The increased capacity will aid in the expansion of the Pinnacle® Pristine line of Scotguard™ Protector products.
According to Stevenson, materials from the new line should hit the
market in the first quarter of 2022.
