I have a theory that every post-frame builder in America is currently sitting on a photo of the best barn, shop, or riding arena they’ve ever built — and that photo is trapped on somebody’s phone, three thousand pictures deep, wedged between a kid’s dance recital and a screenshot of a text nobody meant to save.
Friend, it’s time for an intervention.
Every year around this time, Rural Builder puts out the call for projects for our Source Book, and every year a handful of builders send in stunning work, plus a much larger, much quieter group who could send in stunning work but don’t, because they’re too busy building. I get it. Nobody builds a 60×120 equestrian center so they can spend the following Tuesday writing a project description. But here’s the thing — we’ll do the heavy lifting. You send us the photos and a few basic details. We turn it into something your crew, your clients, and your competitors will all admire.
This isn’t just about bragging rights. The Source Book is where builders across the country go looking for ideas, for proof of what’s possible, and, frankly, for someone to steal a good roofline from. Your project could be the one that gets a rancher in Nebraska to finally build that indoor arena, or convinces a skeptical buyer that yes, post-frame can absolutely look that good.
